A woman was injured while pulling through the drive-thru of Culver's Frozen Custard and Butterburgers Monday afternoon, and the quick actions of Culver's employees may have saved her from further, more serious injury.

Restaurant owner Chris Debolt said Monday that the customer, a regular at Culver's, was pulling up to the drive-thru window when she dropped her money. The woman opened her door to lean out and retrieve it, not realizing the car was in reverse. She fell from the car, and it backed over her leg before ending up in the brush behind the restaurant.

Culver's employee Abbey Worman, who was working the drive-thru window, ran outside to help the woman and yelled for other employees, including someone to stop the car.

The unidentified woman was injured and taken by ambulance to HSHS St. Anthony's Memorial Hospital.

Debolt said he reviewed video of the incident afterwards and was extremely proud of how quickly and selflessly Worman and the rest of his crew reacted.
