Edwards County Man Sentenced on Meth Charges

An Edwards County man has been sentenced to federal prison on methamphetamine charges.

44-year-old Joshua Millman of West Salem was sentenced to 114 months in federal prison, four years supervised release once out of prison and a fine. Millman pleaded guilty to three counts in a federal indictment.

Millman admitted to conspiring with others to distribute meth, possessed with intent to distribute meth, and distributed meth. The offenses occurred July 1 of this year in Clay County, while the conspiracy developed starting in April in Clay and Richland counties.

Flora Police Department, Clay County Sheriff's Department, Southeastern Illinois Drug Task Force, Richland County Sheriff's Department and Illinois State Police participated in the investigation.
