EHS Math Club, School Officials, Help Others

This month marks the seventh December that Effingham High School Math Club has sold fruit, not only as a fundraiser for a trip in April, but also to raise money to buy extra fruit to be shared in the community.

Math Club sponsor Angela Johnson has organized the fundraiser since December 2009. Each year, the club purchases 25 extra fruit baskets that EHS Principal Jason Fox, Vice Principal Cody Lewis and School Resource Officer Deputy Darren Feldkamp deliver to families within the Unit 40 school district.

This year, due to generous donations from the community, the club was able to purchase 50 baskets, nearly 1,000 pounds of fruit, to be given back to the community.
