Members of the Cumberland Board of Education discussed a continuous improvement process at Thursday's meeting.

Board President Jack Ingram said the continuous improvement team has met three times and has compiled a survey. Four categories of unique questions were developed for the elementary, middle school, high school and staff members.

The survey will be taken by the staff on January 4, while the students will take the survey later in January. The results will be used to help determine what needs improved in the Cumberland district.

The Board passed the fiscal year tax levy; purchased workers compensation insurance coverage; and accepted the resignation of Marnie Blade as middle school head softball coach.
