Two People Injured in Three-Vehicle Crash

Two people were injured in a three-vehicle crash at Fayette and Banker in Effingham.
The crash happened at 6:19pm Thursday. Effingham city police report a vehicle driven by 19-year-old Stormie Blair of Farina struck a vehicle driven by 66-year-old Lynn Davis of Watson, causing the Davis vehicle to strike a vehicle driven by 17-year-old Alexa Harrison of Louisville.
Davis and a passenger in Blair's vehicle, a 17-year-old from Clay City, were both injured were taken by ambulance to HSHS St. Anthony's Memorial Hospital in Effingham for treatment.
Blair was cited for failure to yield. The 17-year-old passenger, whose name was not released by police, was cited for possession of cannabis and possession of drug paraphernalia.
