The Illinois Department of Corrections has taken back into custody two offenders who escaped from the Dixon Springs Impact Incarceration Program on Sunday.

Jerrette Reed and Kevin Rivera were found to be missing at 5:50pm. The two offenders were apprehended without incident in a field about one mile west of the facility just before 9am Monday. Reed is serving a three-year sentence on meth-related charges out of Randolph County. Rivera is serving a five-year sentence for manfacture and delivery of cocaine out of Cook County.

The Illinois State Police, the US Marshal's Service, and the Johnson County Sheriff's Department assisted in the search. An investigation into the escape is underway.
