Members of the Effingham Noon Rotary Club picked up some sales tips from one of its own at the November 25 meeting, and also heard from some members who are veterans about their years in the service.

Bill Myers discussed his years of selling both as an employer and as an employee. Myers also discussed a number of books written on selling that he said have been useful, as well as people who have been mentors or who have otherwise encouraged him. He invited one of those mentors, retired EHS Business teacher Fred Moore, to the presentation.

Time was also given for some Noon Club members who have served in the military. Those who spoke include Mike Sehy, Larry O'Dell, Ron Schettler and Club President Carrie Crippen. Noon Rotary has saluted veterans throughout the month of November due to the Veterans Day observance during the month.

The Rotary weekly student guest was Jared Minor, son of Ed and Sue Ann Minor and a senior at Effingham High School.
