Pedestrian Struck at Fayette and Henrietta Monday

A pedestrian was struck by a vehicle at Fayette and Henrietta late Monday night.

Effingham city police said the incident occurred at 10:50pm when the pedestrian, 28-year-old Michele Ohlund of Effingham, was struck by a vehicle driven by 44-year-old Robert T. Jones of Effingham.

Ohlund was taken by ambulance to HSHS St. Anthony's Memorial Hospital in Effingham for treatment. 

Ohlund was cited for disobeying a pedestrian control signal.
