Four people were injured in a rear-end collision on the Keller Drive interstate overpass.

Effingham city police say the crash occurred at 6:09pm Friday. A vehicle driven by 26-year-old Rebecca Wagner of Watson rear-ended a vehicle driven by 73-year-old Lee Chiu of Effingham, and the Chiu vehicle then rear-ended a vehicle driven by 76-year-old Jimmy Hunsaker of Hidalgo.

Wagner was injured, as were three passengers in the Wagner vehicle: nine-year-old Jeremiah Wagner, 11-year-old Jackson Wagner and four-year-old Dalainie West, all of Watson. All four were taken to HSHS St. Anthony's Memorial Hospital in Effingham for treatment.

Wagner was cited for failure to reduce speed to avoid the crash.
