Beecher City Man Faces Series of Charges After Thursday Incident

A Beecher City man faces a series of charges after an incident late Thursday night.

The incident happened just after 11pm at 1806 West Fayette. City police report an attempt to make a traffic stop on 24-year-old Zachariah Houser of Beecher City. Instead, police say Houser attempted to flee and collided into a parked semi owned by Charles Gilbert of Morrow, Ohio.

City police cited Houser on counts including DUI, possession of cannabis, fleeing or attempting to elude a police officer, reckless driving, possession of drug paraphernalia, driving on a suspended licensee, illegal transportation of alcohol, improper lane usage and disobeying a traffic control device.
