Personnel items were a big part of Monday's St. Elmo school board meeting.

The Board employed Lisa Beck as full time bus driver; accepted Julie Aderman's resignation as school nurse as of September 30 and hired Natalie Morrison to replace her; and approved Heather Seibert as assistant high school volleyball coach for the current season retroactive to August 25.

Board members reassigned Isaac Grapperhaus from assistant junior high boys basketball coach to head junior high boys basketball coach; reassigned Zeke Asher from sixth grade basketball coach to assistant junior high boys basketball coach; and accepted a letter of intent to retire from Natalie Stout at the end of the 2017-18 school year.

The Board also contracted with Hurst-Rosche at a cost of $7,880 to conduct the 10-year health and life safety survey for the District; and approved a joint resolution agreement with OKAW Area Vocational Center. The FFA Chapter was given permission to attend the National FFA Convention in Louisville, KY October 27-29.
