Chance to Weigh in on IDOT Projects Today

The Illinois Department of Transportation is offering an opportunity today for you to weigh in on transportation improvement projects planned in the area in the next few years.

The Open House will be held from 4 to 6pm today at the Effingham Knights of Columbus Building on West Fayette. IDOT's multi-year program for transportation improvements will be available for viewing, and IDOT officials are looking for your thoughts on the project list.

The current Fiscal Years 2016-2021 multi-year plan reflects approximately $8.385 billion in planned highway projects.
