Collin Hecht, Shayna Phillips are EHS Homecoming King and Queen

Collin Hecht and Shayna Phillips were crowned Effingham High School Homecoming King and Queen for 2015 Friday night. The ceremony took place during halftime of the Hearts' football game at Klosterman Field.

King Collin is the son of Bob and Janet Hecht, while Queen Shayna is the daughter of Glen and Jeni Phillips. The two will reign over Saturday night's Homecoming Dance, which will run from 8-11pm in the main gym at EHS.

Senior escorts are Craig McDaniel and Drew Vasquez, while senior attendants are Avery Braunecker and Abby Marxman. Junior escorts are Jacob Bushue and Harrison Smith, while junior attendants are Alex Brummer and Sidney Webster. Sophomore escorts are Parker McGee and Ryan Sandifer, while sophomore attendants are Kaylie Allred and McKenzie Lewis. Freshman escorts are Cooper Jackson and Eli Wilson, while freshman attendants are Skyler Schafer and Miranda Fox.

The retiring queen is Jessica Miller, while the retiring king is Billy Arndt.

Claire Niebrugge and T.J. Bleeker served as announcers for Friday night's Homecoming ceremony.
