Injury Crash in Flora Friday

A person was injured in a crash in Flora at noon on Friday.

State police said a car driven by 60-year-old Sandra Gross of Louisville collided with a semi driven by 57-year-old Rickey Gill of Flora. Police say the units collided in the intersection of US Route 50 and State Street, and Gill had the green light, while Gross had the red light.

Gross was injured and was taken to Clay County Hospital in Flora for treatment. Police cited Gross for disobeying a traffic control signal.
