Full Day of Events at Corvette Funfest

Saturday is a full day of activities at the 2015 Corvette Funfest at Mid America Motorworks on North US 45.

Show field hours are 8am to 7:30pm. The MY Garage Museum is open for tours until 5pm, and Celebrity Choice Judging continues until 2pm.

There are dozens of seminars, and not all concerning Corvettes. Local artist Jamie Stang conducted a painting workshop, Chef Niall of Firefly Grill is offering an outdoor food demo, Ginny Liss is leading a yoga seminar, and a Thickburger eating contest sponsored by Hardee's will begin at 12:30pm.

Dr. Philip Dy will discuss his goal of a cancer-free world at 1pm, and Dr. Ruben Boyajian will present a seminar on breast cancer awareness at 3pm.

Tonight, gates will open to the Funfest Amphitheater at 6:30pm, and the concert featuring David Marks and the Surf City Allstars will entertain with all of your favorite beach music at 8pm. David Marks is the original Beach Boys guitarist, and the Allstars have toured with and been trained by the Beach Boys and the Jan and Dean Band. The concert, and most of the other activities at Funfest, may be attended by the general public.

Funfest will conclude on Sunday.
