After approving a three-year contract agreement last month with the Teutopolis Education Association, Teutopolis school board members Monday approved new salary schedules for the next three years.

Superintendent Bill Fritcher said the new schedules include 2% pay increases in each of the first two years, and then a step increase the third year. The District will also contribute an additional $147 for insurance in each of the three years.

The agreement with the approximately 75 members of the TEA was effective with the start of the school year.

Board members also agreed to seek bids on a new school bus; hired Grant Keller as high school boys track coach and Jennifer Flynn as high school co-cheer sponsor; and approved Heather Pruemer as a volunteer with the high schoool girls basketball program.

The Board approved the district audit for the past fiscal year; recognized Kelsey Wermert and Ben Sudkamp as Students of the Month, and Lauren Hemmen and Collin Funneman as Rookies of the Month; approved a leave of absence for Kari McManaway; contracted with Upchurch and Associates to inspect all district building roofs twice a year for $4,200; and approved a new extra-curricular activity for a student to participate in IHSA swimming and diving.
