An Altamont man is scheduled to enter a guilty plea in Sangamon County Circuit Court in his sex offense case.
31-year-old Marc Ohnesorge is charged with two counts of indecent solicitation of a child, as well as charges of traveling to meet a minor and aggravated criminal sexual abuse. Three other men, all from Springfield, have been charged with the same offenses, alleging that they solicited a sex act from a minor over the internet.
Prosecutors allege that Ohnesorge and the others made contact with a 15-year-old boy on a social networking site and have allegedly been in contact since 2013.
Ohnesorge is slated to be in court on October 9 to enter the guilty plea.
