Dancing Pays Off for CASA

CASA-Dancing With Your Effingham Stars was held Friday night at the Effingham Knights of Columbus Building. The sold-out show, attended by some 600 people, consisted of a dinner, various games and a dance competition.

Our own Courtney Koester and Dave Zerrusen kicked the night off with a trip back in time, dancing through every decade from the 20's to today. Shae Westendorf and Jerry Jansen followed with a number taking everyone back to "The Hop".

Lynn Vogel and Jason Semple danced to Queen's "Bohemian Rhapsody", while Rachel Geving and Justin Wending wrapped up the competition with a medley pertaining to professional style.

Shae Westendorf and Jerry Jansen took home Fan Favorite honors, while Lynn Vogel and Jason Semple were crowned Overall Winners and also won for Best Costume.
