One person was injured in a crash along Moccasin Road Thursday morning.

The crash happened at 11:17am at 300th Street. Effingham County Sheriff's Department reports a pickup truck driven by 85-year-old Paul Sarver of Herrick stopped at the intersection and then pulled into the path of a car driven by 54-year-old Shelly Craig of Altamont. In the resulting collision, both units came to rest in the ditch on the northwest corner of the intersection. A cable box belonging to Mediacom was also damaged.

Craig was injured, but refused treatment. Sarver was not injured, but was cited for failure to yield.
