Two people were injured Wednesday in a crash on Effingham's south end.

Effingham city police report a vehicle driven by 63-year-old Jerry West of Rinard turned in front of, and was struck by, a vehicle driven by 25-year-old Chelsea Kaufman of Effingham. Kaufman and her passenger, 56-year-old Judy Glosser of Decatur, were injured and were taken to HSHS St. Anthony's Memorial Hospital in Effingham for treatment.

Police cited West for failure to yield. The crash happened at 11:27am at the intersection of Banker Street and Walk Avenue.
