Plans are at the ready for the Hobnob Harvest Market, scheduled for September 11-12 at Tuscan Hills Winery in Effingham.

Hobnob Harvest Market is a pop-up event of 140+ hand-picked vintage and handmade vendors. Shopping, live music, wine and food will all be a part of the event.

Vintage and handmade vendors from 10 states will set up village-fair style on the winery grounds. The vintage finds at the market range from rustic farmhouse ro industrial to mid-century to shabby chic. Handmade artisans sell stylish goods including repurposed furniture, jewelry, clothing and home decor. Hobnob Market vendors treat their spaces like mini shops and arrange creative, boutique-style displays.

Effingham City Tourism Director Jodi Thoele said, "We are excited for another year of the Hobnob Harvest Market in Effingham. Last year, we had people from all over the Midwest come to Effingham to experience this vintage and upscale market. I can't wait to see what the event has in store for us this year. I know Tuscan Hills Winery will be the place to be, with over 140 vendors, live music, fantastic food and fun for everyone."

Friday, September 11, will feature a Prairie Moon Party, a ticketed shopping event, from 3 to 7pm. The party will feature live music by The Frisky Frolics, indoor and outdoor cash bars, food and giveaways. Tickets are $10 per person online at www.hobnobmarket.com through September 4, and $15 at the gate on party night.

Saturday, September 12, will feature Market Day from 9am to 4pm. The day will feature shopping along with live music and lots of giveaways plus pumpkins, apples, cider, autumn comfort foods, wine, and craft beers available for purchase. Admission will be $5 per person at the gate (no advance ticket purchase needed).

A note that children 12 and younger will be admitted free both Friday night and on Saturday.

Tuscan Hills Winery is located at 2200 Historic Hills Drive in Effingham.
