Three Teens Arrested for Theft, Drug Charges

Effingham city police are investigating charges of theft and drugs against three local teenagers.

Police arrested a 16-year-old from Altamont, a 14-year-old from Altamont, and a 13-year-old from Effingham. Each was arrested on charges of possession of a controlled substance, possession of drug parapheralia, and theft.

Authorities say the arrests were made on Monday, but no other information is being released.
