UPDATE: Non-Compliant Sex Offender from Willow Hill Turns Himself in to Authorities

A sex offender from Willow Hill, who was listed as non-compliant by authorities after missing his registration date in June, has turned himself in.

Jasper County Sheriff Rick Britton said in a release Friday that David K. Weck turned himself in at the Jasper County Jail on Thursday, and is being held for non-compliance of the Illinois Registered Offender Sex Act and for outstanding warrants in Crawford and Richland Counties.

Britton also thanked the public for relaying information about sightings of Weck after the initial announcement of his non-compliance was released.
