Two Injured in Crash in Clay County Sunday

Two people were injured in a crash in Clay County Sunday afternoon.
Clay County Sheriff's Department reports a vehicle driven by 52-year-old Jack Guthrie of Louisville turned into the path of a van driven by 57-year-old Bonnie Vonderheide of Strasburg and the units collided. The crash occurred on US 45, just south of Doe Road, at 2:19pm.
Vonderheide and her passenger, 12-year-old Alexis Smith of Strasburg, were injured and were taken to Clay County Hospital in Flora for treatment. Guthrie was not injured.
No tickets were issued.
