The Effingham Sunrise Rotary Club #30163 is spearheading a project to erect a monument honoring the fallen Illinois State Troopers from District 12.  The monument will be placed on the historic Effingham County Courthouse lawn.  Illinois State Police District 12 Commander, Captain Kelly Hodge, presented the Effingham Sunrise Rotary with a check for $3,032.50.  These funds were donated by both active and Retired District 12 Illinois State Police.

Contributions for the monument project may be made to the Rotary Charities Foundation of Effingham.  Mail to:  Effingham Sunrise Rotary PO Box 1152, Effingham, IL, 62401.  For more information, please contact Project Chairman, Kathy Schroeder (217) 821-1422.
