Ham City Jam a Big Draw Saturday

Skaters from throughout the state descended on the Hendelmeyer Park skate park Saturday for the 2015 Ham City Jam.

More than 60 skaters registered for the competition and honors were awarded in the Beginner, Intermediate and Advanced classes. Points were awarded based on the degree of difficulty of the tricks attempted and the level of skill in accomplishing those tricks.

The top prize was $300 cash, but many other prizes were also awarded, contributed by local businesses and suppliers of skateboard equipment.
