Fayette County Crash Results in Three Injuries (ADDL INFO)

Three people were injured when a car and pickup truck collided in Fayette County over the noon hour Tuesday.

State police say a car driven by 55-year-old Leona Kesterson of Beecher City was struck by a pickup truck driven by a 16-year-old Altamont boy after Kesterson failed to stop at a stop intersection. 

Kesterson was injured, as were the 16-year-old and his passenger. State police have added that the passenger in the vehicle driven by the Altamont juvenile is 18-year-old Zach Beccue of Altamont. All three were taken to area hospitals for treatment.

Kesterson was cited for disobeying a traffic control device in the collision, which occurred at 12:25pm.
