Jasper County Fair Underway in Newton

The 2015 Jasper County Fair is underway in Newton and runs through Saturday, June 27.

Harness racing is scheduled today with a 1:30pm post time, a half-hour later than originally scheduled.

Here's the schedule of evening attractions:

Monday--Queen and Little Miss Pageant, 7:30pm

Tuesday--pedal tractor pull, 6:30pm...Illiana Pullers Association Tractor Pull, 7pm

Wednesday--Family Night (armband w/$5 admission)...Lawnmower Races, 7pm

Thursday--4-H Auction, 5pm...Rodeo, 7pm

Friday--Family Night (armband w/$5 admission)...Non-Sanctioned Tractor/Truck Pull, 7pm

Saturday--Demo Derby, 7pm

4-H activities at the fair are already underway. Here's the schedule:

Monday--sheep show, 3pm...goat show, 4pm

Tuesday--swine show, 8am...beef show, 5pm

Wednesday--Grandparents Day, 11:30am...Master Showmanship, 5pm

Thursday--dairy show, 10am...4-H auction, 5pm
