Three Injured in Weekend Crash in Effingham

Three people were injured in a weekend crash in Effingham.

Effingham City Police report a vehicle driven by 19-year-old Abby Klitzing of Altamont struck a vehicle driven by 30-year-old Jason Opfer of Shobonier just after 3:30pm Sunday at 1201 North Keller Drive.

Opfer, his passenger, 30-year-old Tessa Opfer of Shobonier, and a passenger in Klitzing's vehicle, 22-year-old Christian Warren of Charleston, were all injured, but all refused treatment.

Klitzing was cited for failure to yield.
