Weekend Crash Near Windsor Results in Death

Details are available on a weekend crash near Windsor that resulted in a death.

A Humboldt man, 41-year-old Harold A. Barr, was riding a motorcycle that struck a fertilizer spreader about 2:45pm Sunday on Illinois 32, three miles north of Windsor. Barr was taken to Carle Hospital in Urbana, where he died Monday morning.

The driver of the spreader was 30-year-old Mitchell Hilligoss of Windsor. Police say Hilligoss turned into the path of the motorcycle. Hilligoss was cited for failure to yield.
