There will also be two $50 drawings Tuesday through Saturday of Fair Week, but you must be present to win. A carnival will be operating from Tuesday through Saturday, June 23-27.

Meanwhile, Jasper County 4-Hers are ready for a big fair week. 4-H shows will be held June 19-24. The buildings may be empty now, but the pens are set up, flowers are planted, bleachers are cleaned and the nutty bars are waiting for the first customers.

The General Project show will be Friday, June 19, followed by the dog show on Saturday; and the rabbit and poultry show on Sunday. The livestock will begin moving in Saturday, June 20 to prepare for the shows that following week, and the 4-H shows will conclude with the dairy show Thursday, followed by the 4-H Auction that evening.

The 4-H building will be open throughout the week beginning Sunday for area residents to view the projects and purchase those nutty bars. Photos of all of the award winners will also be on display throughout the week.
