Teutopolis Native is New S-S Principal

A Teutopolis native will be the next Grades K-12 principal at Stewardson-Strasburg schools.

Justin Deters was hired by the Stew-Stras school board this week to succeed Mark Giertz. The Stew-Stras native is headed to Marseilles for a grade school principal's position in his wife's home area.

The 31-year-old Deters has been an assistant principal in the Clinton school district, but was hopeful of getting back closer to home.
