Effingham Man Injured in Crash in County

An Effingham man was injured in a crash in the county just after 9pm Thursday.

Effingham County Sheriff's Department reports 24-year-old Dallas Araiza was traveling on North Park Road, just south of Lake Pointe Court when his vehicle ran off the roadway and struck a utility pole. Araiza told authorities another vehicle ran him off the road.

While Araiza was injured, he refused treatment. He was cited for operating an uninsured vehicle.
