Cape Girardeau, Missouri officials are making available a new photo of the red extended cab pickup truck believed used in an alleged abduction Tuesday from Cape Girardeau that ended with the victim's escape in Effingham.

The woman said she was sitting in her vehicle in a park in Cape Girardeau when she was physically forced into the pickup truck. There are now reports that the suspect was armed with a long knife during the abduction. The woman was reportedly driven south of Cape on I-55 and then back through the city before the suspect traveled north into Illinois and eventually to Effingham where she told authorities she made her escape about 6pm Tuesday.
