St. Anthony Scholastic Bowl Squad Ready for State Competition

The Scholastic Bowl squad from St. Anthony Grade School is ready for State competition this Friday.

The team won their regional at Sacred Heart School last week, and then won their sectional held at St. Anthony on Monday night.

The state competition will be held at Peoria Civic Center. St. Anthony is in Pool B. They will take on Normal Metcalf at 1pm, Champaign Next Generation at 2pm, and Elmwood at 3pm.

Squad members are Alli Day, Zach Dust, Alex Erickson, Aidan Steineman, Makenna Thomas, Liz Day, Cailin Gilpin, Micheal Kaldas, Tom Unkraut, Jared Hoene, Luke Rudolphi and Jasmine Meyer.

Coaches of the squad are Jan Cunningham and Roberta Meyer.
