Miller Found Guilty of Home Invasion and Residential Burglary

An Effingham County jury Tuesday found an Effingham man guilty of home invasion and residential burglary.

24-year-old Christopher N. Miller was found guilty of offenses stemming from an incident in the 1000th block of Cardinal Drive in Effingham the evening of March 11, 2013. On the more serious offense of home invasion, Miller faces a mandatory prison sentence of six to 30 years.

Judge Kimberly Koester set sentencing for Miller at 1pm on Monday, June 15.

Effingham County State's Attorney Bryan Kibler and Assistant State's Attorney Regina Jeon prosecuted the case. Miller was represented by Effingham County Conflicts Public Defender Lucas Mette.
