City Police Investigating Burglary

Effingham city police are investigating a residential burglary.

Police say the break-in occurred in the 700 block of Calico Drive between 8am and 3:20pm Monday.

Two televisions were stolen, one valued at $400, the other at $300, a jewelry box valued at $100, a Kindle tablet valued at $200, and multiple items of jewelry with a value estimated at $5,000.
