Saturday, August 22 is geared be a night teens and young adults will want to flock to the Illinois State Fairgrounds. The Illinois State Fair has announced Kalin & Myles and Laura Marano will join Austin Mahone on the grandstand stage.
Kalin & Myles, a northern California duo, forge together pop and hip hop into a hybrid, affectionately dubbed, "Hip Pop". Their 2012 debut EP Chasing Dreams boasts songs such as, "On Mine Too," and "Go To Work".
Singer and actress Laura Marano is probably best known for her role as singer/songwriter "Ally" in the Disney Channel television show, Austin and Ally. Marano has a role in the upcoming movie "Chipmunks 4," and her voice can be heard in the movies "Finding Nemo" and "Ice Age 2: The Meltdown." Marano is more than just an actress; she's also a classically trained pianist and has penned over 100 songs. Her debut pop album will be released later this year.
The headlining performer on August 22 will be Austin Mahone. The 18-year-old singer/songwriter recently toured with Taylor Swift, and picked up an MTV VMA win for "Artist to Watch." His hits include, "Mmm Yeah" featuring Pitbull, "What About Love" and "Banga! Banga!".
Tickets for the Austin Mahone with Kalin & Myles and Laura Marano concert are currently on sale. You can purchase tickets through Ticketmaster, or by calling the Illinois State Fair office at (217) 782-1979.
