Teutopolis village board members are considering codification of village ordinances and resolutions.

The codification project has never taken place in the village. It would involve arranging the ordinances and resolutions and making sure they were properly grouped and readily accessible. The initial project cost would be $7,000.

The matter will be on the agenda for a vote at the first Board meeting in May.

The Board hired Cody Runde, Mitch Meinhart and Kyle Blievernicht for a second year as summer workers for the village, and decided against an employee request for an IMRF survey. It was agreed to proceed with a Section 125 employee benefit plan and to have Village President Greg Hess sign the appropriate resolution enacting the plan.

Village board members also presented retiring Village Trustee Roger Henderson with a plaque and gift certificate for his years of service, and to grant pay raises; 4% increases for the Village Foreman and Village Clerk, and 3% increases for other village employees.
