April 1 Deadline for Community Celebration of Excellence

April 1 is the deadline for the latest in the series of Community Celebration of Excellence Breakfasts.

The breakfast is set for Wednesday, April 8 at the Thelma Keller Convention Center. Dr. Nash Naam will speak on "The Magic Power of Touch".

Doors will open at 7am, and the event is scheduled from 7:30-9:30am. Tickets are $15 per person. $5 of each ticket price will go to the Effingham County Promise Scholarship Fund to benefit students from Effingham and St. Anthony high schools. Tickets are available at the offices of the Effingham County Chamber of Commerce on Keller Drive in Effingham.

Dr. Naam is founder of the Southern Illinois Hand Center and is a nationally renowned, board certified hand surgeon. He has published more than 30 original publications and co-authored six books on hand surgery. He's also a national and international lecturer.
