Personnel Matters Addressed by South Central Board

The South Central Board of Education acted on several personnel matters at Wednesday's meeting.

The Board hired Karrie Davis as a support staff employee, approved Cody Becker as a volunteer for the Bass Fishing Club, approved a leave of absence for Lou Ann Donoho, accepted the resignation of Peggy Robb as of the end of the school year, accepted an irrevocable letter of intent to retire from Diane Lane effective after the 2018-19 school year, and granted tenure to Breann Milano.

Board members approved amending the current fiscal year budget, approved an amended calendar for the school year to reflect recent snow days, and got an update on building projects at both the high school and elementary school buildings from Poettker Construction. Also approved was a renewal of student/catastrophic insurance for the district with First Agency, as well as donations to the St. Peter, Farina and Kinmundy ball fields.
