Water Authority Discusses Boat Dockers Marina

Effingham Water Authority trustees Monday met to discuss Boat Dockers Marina at Lake Sara.

A review of the annual payment made by Boat Dockers Marina to the Water Authority was tabled until the April regular meeting.

Trustees, though, did discuss an agreement between the Water Authority and Boat Dockers Marina for improvements to the marina. Mark Goeckner, the owner of the marina, was advised to present a plan for completion of the improvements.

Goeckner had told trustees at a previous meeting that he has a potential buyer for the marina and adjoining restaurant.
