Shumway Man Arrested on Heroin Possession Charge

A Shumway man was arrested over the weekend on a heroin possession charge.

State police arrested 29-year-old Cole D. Heiden during a routine traffic stop. A state trooper reportedly observed a swerving vehicle at approximately 4pm Friday at Keller and Ford and made a stop. A patdown of Heiden resulted in the discovery of a small case containing a syringe and a brown-colored substance believed to be heroin.

Judge Ericka Sanders Sunday set bond for Heiden at $75,000.
