A Look at the Proposed State Police Memorial for Courthouse Lawn

Here's a look at the proposed District 12 Illinois State Police Memorial to be located on the lawn of the old Courthouse in downtown Effingham.

The memorial is being pursued by Effingham Sunrise Rotary, remembering four troopers from the District who died in the line of duty. The monument is expected to cost around $15,000 to completely put in place. Sunrise Rotary is exploring ways to finance the project.
