The biggest crowd yet turned out Wednesday for the 2015 Effingham CEO Experience.

Last year's attendance totaled around 400 but, this year, the turnout numbered close to 600 people. The ballroom of the Keller Convention Center was packed for keynote speeches by Heartland Dental Founder and President Dr. Rick Workman and Effingham Citizen of the Year Craig Lindvahl, who established CEO in Effingham County and is now traveling nationwide to promote the program.

Various breakout sessions were presented by John Perles and Amy Guy, Susan Hanfland, Jennifer Vahling, Deb Bohannon, Dr. Nash Naam, Steve Witges and both alumni and current members of the CEO Program.

CEO student Devin Aherin, who chaired the CEO Experience Committee, said the event was an opportunity to encourage support for CEO and to show those gathered what they have learned from participating in the class. Here's our conversation with Devin...
