Residents of the Neoga school district are invited and encouraged to attend a community meeting tonight scheduled for 7pm at Neoga High School. At this meeting, members of the Neoga Community Alliance will present answers to many of your questions about a tax referendum for Neoga schools.
Over the past weeks, the NCA has been fielding questions from community members about this potential referendum and gathering information to best answer the questions it has most frequently been asked. These answers will be presented to the public at tonight's meeting.
In the meantime, you can email the NCA at neogacommunityalliance2014@gmail.com with any questions, comments or suggestions or visit them online at www.neogacommunityalliance.com for regular updates and information leading up to the April election.
The NCA was formed in 2014 by parents, grandparents, business owners, educators and community leaders to explore every option possible to maintain a strong, vibrant community. Given falling state revenues, the NCA believes supporting a tax referendum is critical for Neoga to continue as a stand-alone school district.
