Bellettes Headed Back to State

The St. Anthony Bellettes are headed back to State competition.

The Bellettes placed in the top six of their divsion during sectional competition held Saturday at the Enlow Center at St. Anthony High School, qualifying them for State competition this Friday and Saturday. The competition will take place at US Cellular Coliseum in Bloomington.

There were 73 Class 1A schools that competed around the state last weekend, and 30 advanced to the State preliminaries that will be held Friday. If the Bellettes place in the Top 10 of those teams, they will compete in the finals on Saturday.

The competition will begin at 10:15am Friday and the Bellettes will dance at 1pm. The entire competition will be live streamed on the IHSA.org website under "Competitive Dance".

This year's Bellette members are Laura Deters, Tierney Hammer, Brianna McDaniel, Madeline McDevitt, Anna Schutzbach, Isabel Moore, Libby Brandt, Kelly Rentfrow, Abby Zaccari, Jaden Bracey, Meg Deters and Avery Elder.
