Still no trial date in the case of Richard Marschke.
The Vandalia man is charged with drug induced homicide for allegedly providing the heroin that led to the death of an Altamont man in January 2014.
Judge Kimberly Koester Wednesday set a pre-trial date for February 11 at 11am. Judge Koester said if nothing in the case is resolved by the hearing, she plans to set a trial date in the case.
Defense attorney William Hoffeditz has indicated that any delays should be attributed to the defendant, as he continues to review transcripts of audio interviews conducted with Marschke by authorities at the time of his arrest.
Marschke remains in custody in Effingham County Jail under $1 million bond.
