Information on Two Crashes Involving Injuries

A Farina man was injured in a single-vehicle crash early Friday morning. The crash occurred on Illinois 37 at the south edge of Edgewood.
State police say 43-year-old Terril Stilabower fell asleep at the wheel. His vehicle ran off the right side of the road. Stilabower overcorrected and the vehicle overturned, coming to rest on its side on the roadway.
Stilabower was taken for treatment. He was cited for improper lane usage.

State police have also released information on a crash that occurred shortly after 9pm Wednesday on Illinois 130 in Jasper County.
A vehicle driven by 31-year-old Melissa Patterson of Olney stopped at an intersection and then proceeded onto the highway, colliding with a semi.
Patterson was injured and was airlifted from the scene for treatment. The semi driver, whose name was not released, was not injured.
Patterson was cited for DUI, disobeying a stop sign and illegal transportation of alcohol.
