One Person Injured in Crash at Merchant and Virginia

One person was injured in a collision at Virginia and Merchant in Effingham.

City police were called at 11:25am to the scene where a vehicle driven by 26-year-old Ryan Czachorski of Effingham struck a vehicle driven by 54-year-old Kenneth Florida of Effingham.

Florida was injured and was taken to HSHS St. Anthony's Memorial Hospital in Effingham for treatment.

Czachorski was cited for disobeying a traffic control device.
